How to Use MyChart Patient Portal

When Innovista Medical Center assumed management of your clinic, we upgraded the electronic medical record (EMR) to Epic Garden Plot, a highly respected market leader in EMR systems. With this transition, you have access to a comprehensive patient portal called MyChart. 

MyChart is designed to make your entire health care experience simpler and more streamlined. Through the MyChart portal, you can proactively manage your health in a variety of ways. You can see a full list of MyChart’s capabilities here.

If you’re new to MyChart, you may have questions about how to set it up and use it. You can find answers to some of the most common questions here. 

Online Scheduling Without a MyChart Account

One of the benefits of MyChart is the ability to schedule on-site and virtual appointments online with a provider of your choice. 

However, if you don’t have an activation code and/or MyChart account yet, you can still make schedule as a guest and create an account after your visit. 

Referrals Status

If you have a pending referral and want to check the status of it, make sure to set up your MyChart account. To access pending referrals, click on Menu, then Letters.
